I got my Spider out of the garage and was driving it and it developed a miss.
In trying to figure it out I have noticed that the forward mixture screw has no effect if I screw it all the way in or out. No change in idle.
Help.
Never mind. I figured It out. Idle jet was blocked
IDF 40 mixture screw does nothing.

Sounds like IDFs. No other carburetor ever made has such frequency of blocked this and leaking that. Glad you found it.

Brad, you can just drive over to NC when I install my 34adf in a month or so.

Unlike IDFs you only need to know how to use a screwdriver and a wrench to get single carbs to work. And the performance is at least as good, if not better.MrJD wrote:Brad, you can just drive over to NC when I install my 34adf in a month or so.
