Hi John.jsab wrote:The last 2 Weber 32/36's I did had that same problem. The high idle linkage was sticking. I turned the screw that holds that linkage out 1/4 of a turn, and the problem went away. Maybe the screw sits too deep in the body. Try to unscrew it 1/4 or 1/2 turn, and if it works then use some loctite on it and reset it.i also have problems like a high idle and sticky at the bottom "when i push the pedal"

"High idle linkage"?
I found the primary-secondary linkage of my carb was binding somewhere during the transition to secondary operation: One of the linkage arms was hitting the point of the secondary throttle shaft nut, a little extra twist on it and it now just clears.
My FIAT to DFEV throttle linkage solution is still rubbish, seems engineered to break throttle cables at regular intervals and I'm not getting full deflection at the carb.
Thanks,
