im looking at putting on a twin set of carbs on a 2L engine, it a 72 124.
my question is, will the hood shut properly?

are you using a flat hood? Do you have the dist in the cam housing? Did you use a 2L crossmember?

I put a 79 2L with twin DCNFs from Serra in a 70 spider. Flat hood, 71 crossmember. had the small rectangular air cleaners. had to modify the height of the front edge of the front one for fit. dizzy was up on top and wasnt as problem.

i guess i know nothing in what i have at this time, sorry, and thanks for the answers, i did not realize things can be difficult. im guessing the cross member lowers that engine, i did read it higher then a 1608?
