are you using a flat hood? Do you have the dist in the cam housing? Did you use a 2L crossmember?

I put a 79 2L with twin DCNFs from Serra in a 70 spider. Flat hood, 71 crossmember. had the small rectangular air cleaners. had to modify the height of the front edge of the front one for fit. dizzy was up on top and wasnt as problem.
