heater wiring

Post by kolls »

Can anybody tell me how the wires for the defroster motor hang out of the heater box when you put the lower part back on to the top part.. I did not pay attention to how they come out of the box when i dropped it down.

I took a picture of one of my old boxes and looked under the dash to make sure of how the wiring is routed. The wiring comes out of the front left side of the box like in this picture. Hope this helps:

Before you go thru the contortions of putting the console back in, run the fan motor to make sure the blades are not striking the housing. The clearances are tight.
