Dual Air Horns

My 72 has two electric air pumps and two sets of air horns , holly crap it will scare deer for miles, but it does pop an 8amp fuse. Did they come with this much horn ??? Have not yet checked the amp draw of the pumps, on the bench they both spin fine and fast.

Both 72's I have, had the one pump and 2 horns. That seemed loud enough for me.

wow, i had fun trying to find room under the hood for one set in my '80... you have two? i dunno what the rating is for that pump, but i think you have the reason you are blowing fuses.

I hung the two air horns in front of the radiator, just as they were on the early coupes. The compressor is mounted on the drivers side under the hood. Plenty of room and no issues with operating temps. There was only one compressor and two horns on the earlier cars.
