On the Road Again!

After replacing about every electronic device known to man and still not being able to idle and run it came down to replacing the altenator. Now I have to get the tail lights and blinkers working.
I cleaned up and sanded down the corrision on the circuit boards and replaced all the bulbs. What is the best way to clean the connections? I thought this would be the next step. I now have 1 back up light and 1 tail light working however I still can drive it at night. The emergency flasher needs replaced (it does not switch off) I'm assuming this is why the blinkers don't work.
Any insight into this would be greatly appriciated. Thanks!

there are several ways to clean connectors, but either carb cleaner or electrical contact cleaner with a wire brush works well. Then coat the contacts with dielectric grease.
Congrats on getting the car running. Turn signals are wired thru the hazard flasher, so a defective switch can cause them not to work
