As much as I wanted to get my '72 on the road this summer, I finally gave up and brought Heather's '82 home from storage today. That means that I'm going to lose my garage space for the '72, so it's off to storage soon, (as much as having three classic cars and a one car garage stinks, it's better that the opposite, but with our wonderful salt air I won't leave them outside for long). About the only things I did before storage was change the oil, disconnect the battery, clean and wax it and add fresh gas and Stabil. I hooked up the battery and it fired up like it was parked yesterday! Not a drip of fluid on the floor! Too bad I didn't get to drive it home
We also played around with our other stored cars: my Dad's '74 Bronco & my '64 Nova, it was a good day, we cleaned them all up, changed the oil & coolant & went for a short drive in each.
