83 Spider headlight relay

I have a 1983 spidereuropa and am considering adding the headlight relays to improve my headlights. I have read on other sites that the Pininfarina spider may have had relays from the factory. How can I tell if that is the case. My car has an October 82 build date so may not have had all the changes of later cars.Any thoughts ? Thanks Brian

I think all Pininfarina spiders have a hi and a lo beam relay. If the headlight switch on the steering column is rotated to control the headlight operation then the headlights are already relay controlled.
