Does anyone know if you can repair a cracked dashboard? Does the permatex repair kit work? Can you use some sort of filler and cover it with some sort of paint and lay a pattern over the paint? One time I saw someone who put a pseudo leather over the dash which looked kind of nice. There has got to be a way other than buying a cover or new. Thanks!

sometimes search finds a lot of good information. just searched dash repair.
also ive read a lot of stuff on dash repair searching on google too.

That repair method will only last a few months at best and then re-crack. Read this thread:

hi, i would replace it the patch dosent hold . You might think of a cover/cap they seem to be affordable.
