Wher the F is the inline fuse located?

If you look on your wiring diagrams (speaking 1979, 2000 here) you will see that the cigarrette lighter goes into an inline fuse. Does anyone know where the heck that fuse lives? I really need a smoke! No, really, I blew my fuse and I need to see where it attaches as that particular RED wire it is a constant feed from the battery.

I'm making an assumption here, based on where mine are located. Look up behind the main fuse panel amongst the mass of wires. One of mine was a bear to find (you know how hard those bears are to find sometimes) because someone had laid it on top of a brace under the dash, probably because it hung down too low.

Mine was zip tied to that same brace,for the same reason!

for some screwy reason, Fiat decided to install a USA style old-school glass tube fuse. most of those fuse holders are red, some are blue. you'll know it when you see it. now, you know what to look for.

Mike, do I understand you to say that both of your Spiders have the glass type AGC fuse for the inline fuses, from factory? Mine were the ceramic GBC type.

ron, i mislead you. i have no idea what the factory supplied. i do have glass fuses, but do not know who put them in the fuse holders. HOWEVER, those fuse holders look original, and look identical to the glass fuse holders you can get today at any parts store.
