Fuel Sender confusion

I just received the new fuel sending unit I ordered for my 77 Spider. When I look at the existing unit it has two fuel lines in the top of it, but the replacement only has one. Any ideas? I'm thinking they sent me the wrong part.

wrong unit, you'll have to cap your return line if you intend to use it

Will plugging the return cause an problems?
