New 81' Turbo

Wanted to show off the new paint job. The color is Ardesia Metalic. I just got it back last night. The guy who did the work just started his own body shop after working 16 years for a local car dealership. I think he did a great job.

Really nice job,and what a great color.Looks so...familiar. hmmmm Is that pinsriping standard on the tubos,or is it a personal touch? I like it much better than the small pinstriping on others.

Stunning! My '81 (non -turbo) is that color, but not in good condition. I now think I will keep the color when I repaint, because yours is a beaut!

Thanks for the compliments. The color and markings are original to the car, there was an additional turbo decal on the hood that I left off, otherwise it is like brand new again.

Are the Turbo Deals from Bruce's or anyother supplier ?

Are they Gold or Silver ?

We had the decals made by a local company, they are silver. Bruces did not have any of the silver decals available. It only cost $20 to have them reproduced from a pencil rubbing of the original.

Love the colour. I was trying to pick between Porche guards red or the blue you have. Went red this time, but next(don't tell the missus) will be this type blue. Excellent choice,looks like an excellent job was done.
