turn signals (removed bumper)

Post by sam »

I took my front bumper off and just moved the turn signals into the holes behind were they were on the bumper for a temp. fix. Where do those little round signals come from like the ones on the car on the page (fits in the old bumper holes)? I think I will check the local parts store to see what they have but I don't remeber seeing anything like that.

Hi there. There is also a thread from "custom stuff" that is about diy bumper delete.
If you want to put something together yourself. Marks looks easy to do.

Mark is the man. His come with all the pieces and parts. A little cutting on the existing holes. Not much.

I did mine last year and am very happy.

Here are a couple of pics. the first showing the right side lights and the 2nd showing the rectangular covers I did. Final painted body color.

Have fun.

Tulsa, I got tired of just looking at the rectangular holes. What I used was sheet brass, painted body color, to make a plate, with wire mesh (1/4 inch chicken wire screen) painted flat black. I used allen head screws to mount, into expansion bolts. (those rubber plugs with threaded insert).

Been thinking that could add brake ducts, or a fresh air dump into the engine compartment. But until I decide what to do it looks a bit more finished, I think.

The whole kit from Mark took maybe 2 hours to install.
