Buy only from vendors who accept credit cards. As a consumer, you have protections when using a credit card that are not afforded to those using debit cards, paypal, venmo, zell or any other type of payment.

if you use funds from your paypal account, paypal will back you up. if you use your credit card to pay through pp, both pp and your cc company will back you up.
