Quilted pattern seats?

Got another car to help with the restoration of my own but it came with seats I haven't been able to find images of? It's a 1975, has anyone got any info on why they're different?

This is the first I have seen of this type of rear seat. Recovering the seats with new material and clamps is not too difficult. Suspect a prior owner re-covered seats.

In the dim recesses of my memory, I vaguely recall having seen an early to mid 1970s spider that had a rear seat that looked like that. So, if it wasn't something that the previous owner did, it might have been an option when the car was new. Somewhat rare, though.

I'm thinking it's most likely the former owner who had them refurbished, since it's also on the front seats as well and I've yet to find information on whether or not it's stock.

It's not a bad pattern for the rear seat, although I think it would look odd on the front seats. So, my guess is that it was not stock but added by a previous owner. As always, I would love to be proven wrong.
