Haven't been here in a while. Quick question. Car is a 1977 Spider. I took out and rebuilt the transmission years ago so I should know this.
Now I think I have driveshaft issues, maybe the center bearing or a universal. Something made a scary noise last time I drove the car.
If I unbolt the shaft from the differential and unbolt the piece holding the bearing, get the e-brake out of the way, should the driveshaft pull out of the transmission with some kind of splined piece on that end or do I need to unbolt the Guibo or something else up there?

Never Mind! 
Driveshaft is out. No need to unbolt at the transmission.
Looks like my pillow bearing( is that what it’s called?) is lunched.

Brought mine to a axle driveshaft shop, Had the u joints replaced as well.
