round turn signals after front bumper removal.

Post by sida555 »

Hi, Just wondering what everyone uses for turn signals after bumper removal. Looking for round light options with dual filament so i can encorperate the parking + turn signals. the holes have been patched up before so i dont need a kit.

Anyone have thoughts on the older willys jeep turn signals lamps?

Why not look for some chrome round motorcycle turn signals. You would have many options to hang or mount. You could cut a hole or use and existing hole making it flush with the body line.

I opened the link and studied the photo. I see 2 wire connectors not 3. If this is the case the light could be used as either a turn signal or a parking light but not parking and turn signal like the original light assemblies in a Fiat Spider.
I could be missing the third connection but you mmight want to ask the question before purchase.

I went with a smaller 3 wire light. I was going to drill a hole and mount to the body and wanted it to not be as noticeable and blend in a bit. I ended up simply putting them in a housing that I placed in the outer holes as I didn’t fill them in like you have. The lights work well. Just depends what look you want. If memory serves me, seems like Mark Allison used to sell some lights that are from a Mustang. Take a look at AutoRicambi’s light kit as I think it’s the one that Mark used to sell and it looks similar to the link you posted.

Ya most of the kits are out of stock. i was checking that out too. Also was looking at the 65-66 mustang lights which might fit with the contour of our body shape.

I looked through some old posts and the consensus was exactly that. He uses the 65-66 mustang lights.
