Rear Calipers

I changed rear brake pads today on the Fiat spider.
Screwed in the piston so that is goes back, installed pads and reassembled caliper to mounting plate.

When I went to press brake pedal to seat pads, brake fluid started leaking from caliper.
Needless to say I will need new calipers.

Is it worth it to rebuild these calipers?
I am worried the rebuilt units will not last very long as I am sure the bore may be scored!?

Has anyone used the new units sold by the fiat vendors?
Are they quality units?

Where exactly was it leaking on/in the caliper? Assuming its coming out from around the piston area I would recommend pulling out the piston and seeing if there is any corrosions/scoring on the OD of the piston that would prevent a good seal around it. Secondly, replace the inner caliper rubber seal as they're like $15 bucks for the set to do both sides. If that doesn't work then probably best to replace at least the piston if not the whole caliper.
