Window wiring question/s

So my 79 spider windows work slowly. Nothing new there. I searched the forum, looked at various diagrams and I'll admit I have a hard time understanding window diagrams. I was looking for a window wiring setup that would use the switch to trigger the relay and then have the full 12 volts going to the motor. And I envisioned a separate relay for each window mtr. I have trouble following how they use one relay for both windows. Can someone help me or explain how the stock system works. Apparently not too well if mine is an indication of how the stock system works.

I believe the relay modification for electric windows consists of 2 relays for each window motor. It can be a fairly complicated circuit to understand.

The window speed can sometimes be improved by properly adjusting the window channels, making sure the capstan cable tension properly adjusted, the Idler pulleys are all free and lubricated and that at the window switches full voltage is present when the switch is activated. The switch internal contacts often cause slow window operation. Lubricating the window channel felts with a silicone spray can also help.
