Procar seat rail adaptors

Post by Zoofly »

Hello -
I've read quite a bit about the Procar Rally seats on the forum, but hadn't heard any mention of an adaptor that I found online. Has anyone had any experience with this adaptor? Sounds pretty simple.

I sprung for the Procar Rally seats in houndstooth.

I had hesitated because of the raised height issue that so many have talked about. Then I found these seat rail adapters from Moto-Obscura. These attached directly to the bottom of the Procar seat, and then you attached the original Fiat sliders.

Here's a youtube tutorial on how the seat adapters mount.

While the new seats do sit higher by about and inch to inch and a half, the fit is good. The rail adapters worked flawlessly, and I am very happy with the results.

Nick, who is the owner of Moto-Obscura is working on a Shoulder Harness seat belt guide for the Procar seats. If it turns out as good as his seat rail adapters, I'll be getting those as well.

Thanks. They are comfortable and with the bolsters it feels "safer" to drive faster through turns. The seats are Procar 80-1000 Rally seats with houndstooth inserts. Here's a direct link to the seats at Speedway.
