I went. Saw Mark, Chris Obert and John Edwards, but didn't recognize anyone else. Good turnout, I thought. Spent a nice three hours there.

Was the black and silver car yours? I went to the breakfast, then left the show around 11. Had to get to a party.

A beautiful day, with a fine turnout. Yes, Mark and Chris Obert were there with some goodies. Also Shaun Folkerts with his 128 4-door, but I didn't see him. Gary with his gorgeous, original Spider.

Some fixer-uppers

Some oddities, including this OTAS

A Honda-powered X1/9

A rare 850 Abarth, with cool headlights (That's Shaun's white 128 in the background)

Several beautifully restored and original cars

The crowd-pleaser was the new Alfa 4C, this one in pearl white:

Personally, I never did care for Alfa's "phone dial" wheels, but this is one beautiful automobile.

Jay Leno made a brief appearance in his 1917 Fiat Botafogo. By request, he was not announced, and I missed the photo op.

Here's a link to a video of this years event. You see Rey's and Mark Allison's pretty faces part way into it (about 2:46) and you can see my Positano 124 Spider (around 1:42) the second from the end as the video loops through the rows of cars. Most parks within the city of Los Angeles have stopped watering due to the drought. As a result much of the grass has died out at Woodley Park. To our benefit this year it rained pretty hard the day before which kept the dust down.

I was there most of the day, mainly over in the swapmeet area. That's me in the background behind the 600 Jolly, scrambling to unload my car & set up my "booth" (table/blankets) in front of/under that big tree.

That's my friend Mike Pellegrino's car. :) To the left is Michael Lemus (standing) talking with John Edwards (seated).

Shaun's car was a mint-green 128 4-door Sedan. The white car in the background is actually my 128 Wagon. 8)
