Brake Caliper Pin

When taking apart my caliper I found one slider pin on the clip and one not (see picture). Can someone confirm which way it should be? Does it matter?

you have them the right way. If you had them the other way, they would be impossible to remove.

That's exactly what I thought when I noticed one pin that way (how is that going to come off), because as you pull the pin it needs to expand over the clip and when it opens up it doesn't make it easy for the pin to come out, but thankfully it did. Thanks for the help.
