I've had a noisy, squealing, passenger window for as long as I've had the car and have never been able to adjust it to get rid of the noise. I've tracked down what I believe is the issue, which is the bump stop attached to the door, for window height. The problem, is that I can't seem to figure out a way to adjust the track to not contact the metal? The only adjustment I can find is in the bottom of the door, but that only pivots the bottom of the tracks around. It seems like I need to shift the top of the window toward the inside of the car slightly to get my desired effect.
The damage to the glass. This is a cut into the surface, not grime or build up.

The culprit, which is currently not touching the window, but does during certain portions of travel
