Custom Seats
I got a pair of tan leather seats out of a 93 RX7 for free. I was thinking of installing them in my spider. One question, the attachment points on the floor board are not level. The front is higher than the back, by about 2-2.5 inches. The seats look like they are made to bolt on a level floor board. Is it possible to create a couple of spacers to raise the rear of the seat up? If I could do this, I would be a little concerned the seat bottom could be a bit high. Anyone have any suggestions?

Re: Custom Seats
That is the problem with most seats I have tried to adapt to the spider...they sit too high..the only ones I've been able to make work are out of a 89 firebird..and i
had to remove the seat rails...literally cut them out..and modify the seat rails out of the firebird to get them low enough. Works though...maybe you could modify the mazda seat rails to work maybe..but if you do it my way you can't go back to the original seats..I have pictures of how I did it on my website... http://www.v6spider.com
