Update: The glasspack resonator replacement has been on for about a month now and it's sounding better ... just a bit louder on acceleration and little deep rumble on deceleration. No real difference at idle. Maybe it took a while for the thing to clear it's throat. Definitely not as loud as the vendors' muffler videos on you-tube, but I'm more pleased than I was after installation. Went thru my headers-straight-through muffler phase with my '70 'Cuda and after an 8-hour Thanksgiving trip with those pipes droning .... don't want anything that loud on the Spider.
I'll try to get something recorded, but I'm not sure whether it's enough of a difference to come through. Very subtle.

No, the stock resonator was cut out from between the California cat and the stock muffler and the glass pack welded in-line. All the pipes are stock diameter.
And the recording sounds a lot different (better ) than what I hear driving!
