Redline: Yes I do want to that. Fiat did not pay too much attention to waterproofing and as a result many a spider has become unrepairable because it. The rocker sill integrity is crucial to the strength of the entire framework of the car so I am going to pay extra attention to water proofing and maintaining structural integrity. I also am going to flush the rocker panel with the rest of the body for aesthetic reasons. Water comes in from beneath and above from the door sills, so sealing that is crucial. I may only weld the top and tack weld the bottom and seal the rest with seam sealer. When the car gets put on my rotisserie I am going to weather proof the entire underside to make sure no water will enter.
