Power windows

My 83 spider has a problem with one of my power windows The passenger side hoes up but not down I pulled the door panel off and all seems good. Am planning to switch the wires to the other side which works Ok. That way I can see if it is the switch. Question. How do you remove the switch without breaking it. Does is come out as a subunit? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks. Brian

I remove switch from both end to pull all the switches.

Thanks for your response. Do you mean to remove all the switches or just the power window unit like the one Auto Ricambi sells.

So after carefully removing the panel I have tested the switch and both windows go up and down using the good side of the switch I just ordered a new one so should solve the problem. Thanks for the help Brian

Update on my power windows . New switch received from Auto Ricambi and installed. Both windows up and down without problem but now having trouble inserting the panel back in the console. It’s a tight fit and has clips top and bottom which I assume hold it in place but hinders the panel insertion I am afraid of breaking the panel if I force it. Any hints or suggestions. Thanks Brian

Install the panel empty.
