Re: Rear disc
It is the same as the front. 227mm, all 124's use the same disk front and rear, except the 85.5 model year spider.

Re: Rear disc
Ok thanks! I will use the Fiat 500 disc to fit the rear caliper from Fiat 500. Just need to do the bracket to hold everything.

Re: Rear disc
Let us know how it works out.
In the video below looks like he was going to re-clock the emergency brake mechanism.

Re: Rear disc
Not that problem because the caliper will be install in the back. I will try to use the original parking brake but will see.In the video below looks like he was going to re-clock the emergency brake mechanism.

Re: Rear disc
First modification is removing 1/10 inches to enlarge center hole of the rotor.

Re: Rear disc
Plates for mounting the caliper at the rear are done. Laser cut in 1'' steel. Now my plan is to pass the brake line in the front of the diff so i will be able to connect my hose from the back.
This prototype was made of steel but the guy plan to built them from anodized aluminium 1'' thick for around $120 US including shipping.

Re: Rear Fiat 500 brake kit install
Fiat 500 brake cable because the original was too short and the Fiat 500 was way too long. You have to cut the inside end of the cable near the plastic that cover the wire. Remove the wire and cut 36 inches from base of the caliper. You can remove the inside end by pulling down the round clip before you can remove it and use it back at the end of your shorter cable. I cut the wire at 56.5 inches. Dremel is your friend here.
I use 4X 1/8 wire clip to hold both wires together and electric wire heat shrink to cover the end cap.
As you can see, the plate to hold the rubber hose is much shorter than the first one who was way too long to clear the wheel.
