Hello Boris it did enter my mind. The base is the actual printed part, however the hood ornament logo is a purchased part from our car vendors and can be expensive if new.
I will get back to you on cost. It takes 45 minutes to print each so not sure how to price.

They are ok machines but the Strat machines are way over priced. I just sent out a PO from work for the Markforge metal printer on Monday. Under $100k and can do the parts 2X faster for a fraction of the cost. Cant wait to start replacing some of my parts with Titanium pieces.

If you don't plan to sell center caps could you perhaps send me the plans/file? We just got a printer at work and are looking for test projects.

The goal is to build a printer that will crank out an ABS composite body/chassis/interior in 24 hours and make production take place in MicroFactories near the dealerships. They aim on having cars available for US Roads in 2016.

This is going to get interesting especially with the thought of being able to potentially model and print a replica of a car from the past that is no longer available.

It gets even better.....we have official Spider 3D printers
