So the answer to Andy's question is... DGES as in 38 DGES not 38 ADL.

Not sure why you need any carb to be honest ... there's a car needed to run it in right?

That's ok Jim - I was having a mad moment.

You're wanting to put a 38 DGES on your rebuilt spider. I'm not sure I'm a fan of them given that their synchronous I believe, as opposed to the 38 ADL which is progressive. I think that the DGES was designed for larger capacity / 6 or 8 cylinder engines... but there are people much better qualified than me to comment on that (Brad?)

What I am saying is that I do have one at beeks shop but I also have duals there to but they are dcnf I believe
