oil pressure and battery gauge
Has anyone added an oil pressure and battery gauge to their dash? If so where did you get them? I have a '78 spider and the bezels are black. I would like to stay with black. Also can I just use the wires that go to my idiot lights to wire up the gauges?

Re: oil pressure and battery gauge
Earlier Spiders came with an oil pressure gauge, so that one is easy. You will also need a sender for it which costs ~$38, and you will need to run a wire from the sender to the gauge.
There are some Veglia voltmeters out there, but they are hard to find.

I used aftermarket mechanical gauges and they actually look factory. Very nice and cheap too. Equus from oreileys. Popped right in, fit the factory hole perfect and matched the other gauges. Look through my posts I put up pics.

Great info from everybody I will research all of the options, at least I know I can do it. Getting ready to make a two piece dash and I though it would look good with additional gauges. Thanks everybody.

if you're relocating gauges, you may need to lengthen some of the wires. i had to lengthen 20+ wires for the 3 gauges. i couldn't believe how many wires went to each. you may also need to reshape the plastic heater duct behind the dash if there are gauges that will go in front of it. not much room there. it's all do-able (and many have done it), just sayin'.
