285 grind cam
Where is the power curve with this cam? It seems like the power peak on the stock cam (at least my 81) is about 5500 rpm. There is the sweet spot for the 285? And for comparison sake, how about the 274?

I have Mark's 274 installed and degreed in to 109 CL. I feel the "pull" starts around 3400 rpm to 5000. Love them compared to stock.

The peak for the 285 will vary a little depending on your intake and exhaust setup but will be in the 6000-6600 range. That cam will make power into the 7000 range
