I built a new cross-member for the camaro style Borg Warner T5. The previous transmission had a mustang style tailshaft housing so the mounting was slightly different.

Engine mounts are welded in place and I notched the oil pan so it would clear the rack..

looks solid. is the tranny hanging lower then the original fiat unit?

Good question I haven't seen the original drive train in so long. I would say yes its real close but my drive train seems more normal to me. So I guess my opinion would be biased!
