since the megasquirt is programmable I'd expect you could somewhat mitigate the effect of overlap. The issue with the Bosch L-Jet on the Fiat is trying to get the fuel mixture correct throughout the rpm range

Possibly Mark... although the cam grinder... Comp Cams explicitly didn't recommend it. I also already have a 4bbl Carter that is tuned to that cam..makes it much simpler..
