I ended up using injectors from a series 1 DSM car. That is the Eagle Talon / Plymouth laser series in North America.

Very large; 450cc with a single valve spray pattern, and cheap. So far I am happy with them in that I can get the car to idle reasonably smooth with such a big injector. Not sure if I will ever need all that fuel but it is good to know I will NEVER be lean (assuming my map is OK).

Doing it over again, i would probably look for something Bosch from a bigger BMW or turbo Volvo. I don't believe you can find anything as big as DSM units but they can easily support 250hp. This is a couple of good things rolled into one. You can use all of the stock fittings and connections and the injectors will be high resistance which makes the megasquirt install a little easier.

Cheers,

Jordan
