the 69 will weigh less for the following reasons. early rear end, no door reinforcement, no headrests, much less wiring, lighter bumpers. No hood liner. no hood spring, no trunklid springs, smaller motor, smaller radiator. If the 69 has a 4-speed then a lighter tranny. small outside mirrors, no shoulder belt with retract mechanism. The 69 does have one weight adding piece the older cars dont have. it has a sheet metal plate below the radiator. There are a few other odds and ends that are probably a toss up. horns, door handles, deep instruments, fewer idiot lights, extra gage. that's all that comes to mind. The big 3 for weight savings are the bumper, rear end, door reinforcement.

That makes sense, it just seems when I open the door, it feels solid ,more so then the others, then also when I sit in it it feels more solid as in driving a tank, where the other cars seem lighter. Maybe it in my head because of how the steering wheel is set closer to the dash etc

How does the 69 compare, feeling wise, to the Alfa you owned?

Curb weight is 2,320 lbs for a 1976 according to service manual.

weight feeling at the wheel will change according to tyres size, don't you think ?

Laramie, winter, 2 weeks... some people would gnaw a leg off to escape those conditions.

West/Central part near the mountains. It's one of the few nice places in WY so I don't blurt it out. If I did Greenies and Californicators would swarm in and ruin it. We don't need anti-gun laws, soccer mom drivers, or people insisting Fido eat in the restaurant with them.

The Brown Palace in Denver is where some woman brought her dog into the restaurant for breakfast. At least she didn't seat it in a chair next to her and feed it from the same fork she was eating with. That's how they do it in Breckenridge, CO.
