I do plan on my rebuilt yet for my 69
I have plans to get the whole suspension done first this year, pretty much I'm going to buy all new things, from the control arms to the steering box
Any way, my question is this, !
In the car as we speak, the engine is a 1438 with a 1608 head
I have a 1608 block with a 1438 head! I plan on rebuilding the 1608,to the max for street driving etc ,
What about the head, which head would be the better of the 2 with the 1608 block,

as i recall, they are identical, if there are any differences it will be in the port sizes. most likely if there is a difference the 1608 will be better. i have seen a few factory ported 1608 heads. i wont argue this with anyone as i have taken apart many engines and found 10-20 of these heads, on un reworked original vehicles
