1800 Head Emission Plugs

Post by 76124 »

Two questions -

Is it necessary or optimal to have the small holes on the exhaust side ports welded up on the 1592 or 1756 heads?

I believe the plugs that go on the top side to fill the ugly holes are 1.25 X 12. Can anyone confirm this? I have an empty bag from Maryland Metrics with my other plugs, but am not 100% sure.

Thanks!

they are 12x1.25. No need to weld them, just insert plugs
