Fuel Injection Question

Are the following mods possible with the stock Fuel Injection on my 2000 stock?---
2000 block
1800 head
big valves
street cams
high compression pistons

Yes they are.
I have done much the same with my FI engine, however I have Mark's 274 FI cams and Miller's adjustable cam wheels. I also recomend having the whole works balanced as well. I put headers on as well and a shaved flywheel.
Noticable improvement and when I got around to degreeing in the engine with the adjustable wheels, a real noticable improvement again.
I left the injection system stock as I, for the most part, know how it works and is easy to sort if it goes pear shaped.
Cost was a few bucks for the machining and the balancing,and parts but for me worth it.

You need to be careful here or you will learn the hard way (like me). The critical mistake most people make when modding factory EFI/MPI systems is they will try to take the motor out of the rpm range that has already been predermined by the dry intake runner length. Do things that will keep the power close to the factory rpm parameters and things will work out better for you. If you want to raise the rpm range sucessfully, you'll need to shorten the runners(and maybe increase volume some to). Its really alot more complicated than just this, but this one basic area, when not correctly adressed ,will yeild less than satisfying results.

good advice, many people choose the wrong cams. Start with determing the rpm range you will operate in and how the car will be used, then choose components that work best in those condition. With stock FI it's important not to overcam the motor or low rpm operation (under 3000) rpm will suffer.
For instance, I had a customer approach me about performance cams and I explained the power curve and his response was "6000 rpm! I never rev over 4K"
The list you put together will provide a nice power increase dependent on the cam grind you choose
