Ok, but my point is;
- the computronix has a better spark but the adavance curve goes up to 22.
- the 123 unit has lower quality spark but has an advance curve that goes up to 36.
Which one is better in your honest opinion? Anybody?
To tell you the truth I like both ...

np coise i didn't think you were putting anyone down just sharing my thoughts on your options .
The Computonix is adjustable your not going to have issues tuning it to your engines needs .

Np Daniel, and thanks for your inputs.
What do you mean by adjustable? How do you adjust it? I don´t want to change springs since I don´t know which to take.
Can you select different advance curves?
I want my engine to be able to go all the way to the red line without having any issues. It´s not a race car but I like good accelerations when driving in the moutain.

Re: Guy Croft 2L Video
total advance should be about 34 degrees, that includes static timing and advance. We set our units at 12btdc and with 22 degrees of advance we end up at 34. Believe me, our units will work well beyond any redline your engine can imagine. Almost any ignition on the market will lose spark capacity about 5000rpm due to the reduction in dwell time. There simply isn't enough time for the coil to saturate properly. Our dwell is controlled through a patented circuit board so our spark intensity remains constant to 12000rpm. Our unit will put out 60000 volts from idle to 12k rpm

Thanks Mark,
That was the answer I was looking for: 12 + 22 = 34 that sound good.
Thanks everybody
