[quote="corujoxx"]I´ve instaled last week my new exhaust and the difference was awesome. I´ve instaled a 4-2-1 stainless steel header, and eliminate the catalist and middle muffler. quote]

Where did you get that header? I've been looking for one like that forever!!

Please PM me

Thank you so much

And the new "catalist", much more free flow.

Wow that looks nice!

Is that indentation on the left pipe (near the 90 deg bend) on corujoxx's stock FI down pipe "as designed"? I passed buying a FI down pipe with an indentation in the same area. Assumed somebody damaged it getting it off the car. Looks like it would inhibit exhaust flow a bit.

corujoxx, nice looking header and exhaust. Where did you get the header and are you using a heat shield?

Nice looking system. I like the location of the O2 sensor. I put a "bridge" between the two down pipes and put the sensor there.

I think I saw something like that available at a German vendor.

Thats just a copy of the flawed ANSA header/downpipe, made by everyone; notice the rediculously short 4th primary of 12" compared to the 20" primary of the 1st...i have had 2 versions of this header, the ANSA and the IAP, maybe this is vick's old copy with a nickle coating...sure wish there was a vendor willing to make a descent 4-2-1 exhaust...anyone?

I do run this ansa header and sure, its a bit better than stock for power with the longer primarys but it is certainly louder and heats up the engine bay a lot (took some VHT ceramic paint to the header last fall and it actually really helps, you have to break (bake) it in very gently though or else she will peel off (so i have read).

the only problem I see with that set up is. I broke my 6 bolts between the header and down pipe last year because i ddnt have 2 bolts holding the down pipe up. so how will it be with out the 6 bolts? and only 2 clamps.

If you broke the studs at the flange interface between cast-iron manifold and down-pipe you can replace those. Carefully drill the studs out with a hand drill or press. Then clear out the stud remnants using a 8mmx1.25 tap. Ace Hardware carries studs that will work; they also carry the tap.
