the torque curve seems very peaky, why do you feel it drops off so dramatically?

We've got good A/F ratio throughout, but the tuner suggested that I look for an aftermarket progressive linkage for this carb. I must use restraint with the throttle below 3k to keep from bogging down the engine. I suppose those of you with twin IDFs are in the same predicament. We'll see what Denise has to say after a spin in Nashville.

Since the two lines are the same color I wasn't sure what I was seeing. 90 hp at 2500 is good and 105 at 4000 also, but that motor would normally make peak hp at about 6000-6200 rpm. The steep dropoff indicates something amiss. Are you using adjustable cam wheels?

Yes, and the valve train was timed to IAP cam specs. I wonder if they've moved?
This curve looks a lot different than the 2009 posted in the New Head thread. Damn, I shoulda marked them with a paint pen or scribed a line

It looks like 30 hp @ 2500 rpm to me, 90 doesnt make sense, I think thats the torque.

Your HP will be the lower, linear path, steadily increasing until the peak hp is realised, on the stock 1800 it is, as indicated, it is @ 6200 rpm, the figure of 90 @ 2500 is definately your torque. I am guessing that if you have such a great torque curve, your hp peaks low, especially all cammed out, and your a/f ratio is good then it must be your exhaust system!

Dang, I have got to get my engine dynoed with the dual IDFs on it. I'm anxious to see what I gained in hp over the 2 bbl Holley.
