Post by coise »

Just thought that some of you might be interested in changing their radiator hoses to this:
http://www.coolflex.com.
I bought thoses last year, it´s waranteed for life, but it comes with a price...
It´s really easy to install and it´s very well made.

Some like the look and some hate it.
Let me know what you think of thoses.

Looks good. Take a pic so we can see the whole engine. What did it cost for the kit?

Thanks, fiat88.
I know it´s expensive but when I saw it, I just couln´t help it...
Just to make me feel better, I keep telling myself that it´s for life. Any kind problem, I just ask for new ones from the company. 8)
I´m happy with it, it´s just part of the process of upgrading my car, I started 15 years ago. My next move would be to get double IDF carbs, but it will have to wait for now.

You asked so here goes. Your engine bay looks great, but I dont really like the hoses. To blingy for me. I would love to find silicone hoses to replace the stock hoses. They come in different colors. Im hoping you dont take any offense to my opinion. I only replied because you asked. Your opinion on your car is the only one that matters anyway. Nice job so far. Money is not a factor in my opinion. i bought this.

That´s a nice filter, you removed the ''holder with sensors'' to put it directly one the block.
Where did you get it?
About my hoses don´t worry I still love them specially since they are so reliable...
I like it when people are honest.

Coise, the filter in the pic is on my x 1/9 block. It was put there for the pic, it is now on my spider. I got it on line. google washable oil filter, I think jegs also sells them. We share a passion for the same car but go down very different roads.

I'm not a blingy sorta gal, but I like your new hoses. We all may be going that route one day when our formed hoses are no longer available.

Haha, Rey, only a forum veteran woulda got that. I kinda pictured wearing my custom pistons as earrings and the gold carbs as a pendant.
