interior lights

Post by laura79 »

I'm writing for the fist time from Italy. I have a '85 pinifarina spider and i have some troubles with wiring connections because previous owner had approximated works... So i read that there is a light wich lights ignition switch area, is it true? i found a small light under the dashboard, near the wheel but i haven't idea what is it because doesn't light.anybody can help me? i have another problem with courtesy light, previous owner gave it to me disassembled and i don't know how to reassemble. Has anybody some pictures about as the springs are mounted inside? Thank you very much.

Laura

I am not sure about the 85's but check out this post about the light under the dash. It might explain what it is.

I am not sure what it would cost to ship it Italy but it might be easier to replace the courtesy light than rebuild it. Just a guess on my part. A bunch of the guys on this site have alot of extra parts that they sell to other members for very good prices.

thank you very much for quick answer. i read the topic, but my light is on right side of the wheel and it is a small bulb with 2 connector, i'm sorry now i don't have any picture tomorrow or friday i'll do that so i could show this light. I read in maintenance manual that there is a "light lighting switch" and that "ignition switch lights opening the door",is this true? Where i have to seek to buy courtesy light? thank you!!
