Door handle/lock mechanism

Hey Everyone!

Somehow, over the winter, my passenger side inside door handle seized up. I am talking about the post that the interior door handle sits on. I do not see this part for sale on any sites. Has anyone ever experienced a problem with this part. Does anyone have a parts car that still has this part and would be willing to sell?

I have the guts from a driver's door for a '79 available. If you find that some parts are interchangable give me a shout.

I do not know what is/is not interchangable.

I was able to remove the mechanise, pry it apart and sand down all the rusted parts. It is now working fine. Thanks for the replys anyway.
