what to use on ragtop

I think my top is vinyl, the original that came on my 77 spider.
What can I use on it to protect it - Armorall? Something else?

According to my upholstery guy, ARMORALL is about the worst thing you can put on your vinyl top.

Get some Vinyl Protectant, sold in most auto parts stores. The brand name of the bottle on my desk right now is KEYSTON MAGIC and is called "Vinyl & Fiberglass Protectant".
