I posted this on Mirafiori, but in case anyone here knows: On a '71 spider, I need to replace the glass setting tape that secures the vent window glass pane inside of the angled chrome channel. I have some tape that is 1/16" thick, which seems about right. 5/64" thick would seem to be too thick based on measurements, but I haven't tried it since I don't have any 5/64".
Anyone have experience with re-setting the vent pane in its channel, in terms of the thickness of the setting tape?
