Colorado VIN Inspection

Hi Folks,

I think I'm close to VIN inspection time. As you may know, I got my 124 from a junkyard auction in Denver last year. Well, I just took it out for it's maiden voyage yesterday, and other than a problem with 4th gear, I'm almost ready to get it inspected. I got it without a title, so I have to go down the title bond / VIN inspection route. I have had a few motorcycles done, and it was a piece of cake, but I've never had a car inspected. So my question to the oracle is, has anyone in Colorado had a VIN inspection done, and what did they look at, what was the process like, where did you take it?

I'm not talking about the VIN verification; the one you can get done almost anywhere. I'm talking about the inspection you have to schedule, and take the car to a CSP or cop shop and have them inspect the car for safety, conformity, etc.

Has anyone in Colorado had theirs done?
