'80 Control Arms in Stock Anywhere??

Post by filipm »

My recent purchase has turned into a large project right out the gates... Control arm bushings are all pretty much shot and rather than go through the labor or replacement bushings, looking for full replacement control arms, top and bottom.

None of the go to vendors seem to have them in stock? Any other options?

Thanks,
Filip

Thanks for the links!

Vicks shows out of stock on all of them once added to cart, Mr. Fiat only has uppers in stock, and AR will have lowers available in 2 weeks time. Might just wait for all in stock from one vendor.

Looks like a spring project.

Yes we actually have several sets in stock right now, of the Prima 1 units.

I just spoke with the manufacturer of the OE style units that everyone is very familiar with (Vema). They promise production at the end of October. Take that with a grain of salt though as this is the same thing they've said for 2 years.

just doing the bushings isn't that bad a job you can do yourself with free rental tools from Oreilys or autozone. uppers are simple. Lowers need to be pressed on by tire shop.
clean them up, paint them, good as new.
